Stuffed Dum Allo!!

Potato is a very common vegetable and is used in almost in every cuisine. Potatoes yield abundantly with little effort, and adapt readily to diverse climates as long as the climate is cool and moist enough for the plants to gather sufficient water from the soil to form the starchy tubers.

Some say you should not eat potatoes they are unhealthy, I say eat everything you love with moderation. I know diet conscious and people who love those six pack make sure they include potatoes in their diet plan.There are hundreds of ways these can be cooked. Lets talk about the most common dish of Potatoes that is cooked all over India but every body has a their own twist to it, "Dum aloo" :)
What we need you ask?
  1. Potatoes : 4
  2. Cashew Nuts : 30gm
  3. Chat Masala: 1 pinch
  4. Chilli Pdr: As per taste
  5. Green Chilli Chopped: 2
  6. Coriander Pdr: 1 tbps
  7. Cumin Pdr : 1 tbps
  8. Garam Masala: 1/2 tbsp
  9. Ginger Garlic Paste: 1 tbps
  10. Kastoori Methi pdr: 1 tbps
  11. Oil: To fry
  12. Onion: 2
  13. Tomatoes : 3
  14. Turmeric: I pinch
  15. Salt: to taste
Now how to prepare:Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into half and scoop & fry them. Also fry the trimmings left from scooping ,mash up trimmings cumin pdr,coriander pdr,chat masala,chilli pdr,coriander leaves,chopped gr chillies,salt,and stuffit back into the potato shells.Heat oil in a pan, add whole garam masala,cumin,onions and fry till golden brown add turmeric and ginger garlic paste add cumin pdr coriander pdrchilli pdr ,little water and cook for few min add cashew and tomato paste and cook on slow flame till oil ozzes out add water and cook covered till sauce is nice silky.Add potatoes and simmer for few more minutes,add kasturimethi pdr , coriander leaves and finish of with cream(optional)Now wasn't that easy ;)My Husband loved it, I hope you guys also enjoy it.Happy Blogging
