Tandoori chicken is amazing gift to the world from the amazing state of Punjab. It serves as a great starter for a happening party or for the grill lovers its a easy breezy recipe. You can enjoy it inside, out doors, by the pool, on a camp site basically where ever your

I guess that was little too much dramatization but some of it true :)

Preheat your oven to 425 degree Fahrenheit.
In a baking sheet arrange the carrots and onions to be used as abed for the chicken.
Arrange the chicken with slit side up.
Cook for 20 to 35 minutes till the chicken is tender. Remove from oven,
Remove from oven and serve hot, garnished with sliced onions and lime wedges.and also can be heated on griddle if serving later.
The stunning flavors and roasted look of the dish will have your
guests asking for more!!!
If you want to prepare this on a camping site, you can always use the same recipe and instead of putting on the bed of vegetables and cooking it in the oven place it directly over the hot grill till the meat is tender.
If you plan to cook it for a picnic like we did last weekend, I would suggest cooking the chicken 90% in the oven and then for the fun of it put it on the grill and show off your mad grilling skills ;)
Like I did
Now this part is specially for my friend Saraswathy who requested for a Microwave version of this.
The marination and recipe remains the same. For cooking the chicken, put it into the high rack on non-stick tawa or rotisserie or microwave safe flat dish without the vegetable bed and cook for 9 -10 mins. Now brush with oil and grill for 15-20 mins. Changing sides occasionally.
Now that we know all the different variations let get grilling...... Summer is only for few months ;)
And don't forget to let me know.
Till then Happy Blogging
