Road Trip to Yosemite National Park!

Mostly on Thanks Giving people stay at home cook the big dinner with Turkey and Pies but for us it was different. My husband had the whole week off instead of the regular 4 days, so we decided to get on a bus and take a guided tour to Yosemite.
We had been these guided tours earlier and generally the guides are quite easy to understand but unfortunately this time we had time understanding the guide because of his heavy Chinese accent (no offense) but the beauty of nature so breathe taking that it was really not necessary to listen to any body.

Yosemite's natural beauty can be found in things big and small, from towering granite cliffs and giant sequoias to diminutive wildflowers. It was snowing so it was really not possible to visit all the beautiful sites. But we did had a lot of fun in snow.

Even though it was freezing cold, there were few creatures whom you could just not keep indoors. Like the beautiful pair of deers, and nature crazy photographers :)
I understand those deers had to get something to eat but what was up with these photographers. I am sure some of my friends would differ to agree that it is madness !!!!

Apart from its natural beauty this place has historical importance as well. This valley was created 2 million years ago by glacier and was named "Yosemite" by its native Indians.
Now there are many legends about why it was named so. Some say the native Indians, who were forced to move out of this beautiful place by White Soldiers, used to call the Soldiers Yosemite which means killers.

Anywhoooooo after we had the chain installed on our bus tires, we tried to move dipper into the forest but the continuous snowing and rain made it impossible to complete the whole tour. So we stopped by the Yosemite Resort had hot cups of Coco , took some nice Pics and headed back to the hotel !

I hope we get to go there is summer so that we can see all the beautiful lush green trees, lovely flowers, the huge granite mountains, the beautiful falls which are so white they call it "Bridal Veil" and some animals :)

Fingers crossed !!!!!!
