Cuttack Dahi Vada Chaat
Cuttack is popular for many things like its silver filigree works with intricate interwoven wires, its screwed up drainage system, narrow and busy lanes, overly crowded Badambadi bus stop and a huge list of delicious culinary delights.
Among the culinary delights unique to the Millenium City, none compare the famed Dahi Bara and Aludum, a spicy concoction of three basic dishes i.e., dahibara, ghuguni and aludum.
As promised I would describe how to assemble this amazing mouth watering dish.
Ingredients: (this would make on serving)
Procedure:
In a bowl place the dahi vada, add rest ingredients in the order mentioned in the ingredients list and enjoy.
The recipe for dahi vada, aloo dum and ghuguni is available in my previous post.
You will find this variety of dahi vada chaat all over Orissa but one who has tasted Cuttack's Dahi vada aloo dum would never forget it.
So if you happen to visit Cuttack some day do remember to go to the Bridge and taste the dahi vada aloo dum there :)
I bet you, your friends and family would love this great dish as much as we do.
Till then Happy blogging
